Ranchero Loco El Paso — Restaurant in Vilonia

The good: the food. We went on a taco Tuesday where they had $1 tacos and they were simple but flavorful. I tried a chicken taco and the meat was tender and moist. The chili rejeno was pretty good, nice and thick with lots of cheese. My kids fries were quite tasty too surprisingly.

The bad: service was pretty poor, but I don't blame our waiter. The poor guy was the only person taking orders for the whole place it seemed. There were some other people standing around on their phones behind the counter. Our food took longer than usual at a Mexican restaurant and multiple people got their food before us that had been sat after us. We were informed well after we ordered that our kids cheeseburger was unavailable and we had to switch his order, which is difficult to explain to a young one.

Overall, the food saved this review. I think with a bit better management this place could be better as the food is good, they just either need to hire more servers or manage the people they...

UPDATE: Just wanted to state that it has been a few months now since I wrote my first review and Ranchero Loco is still good to this day! Same food and all! the server we had today was Alex (I think) and he was outstanding!!! kept our water glass filled and kept asking if we were ok! Go check them out if you are in the area

My husband and I had the "Veggie Fajitas" and they were really good. I like getting my vegetables cooked to where they are not to soft, and I think this is the first Mexican restaurant I had special ordered them cooked that way and they did just that! Great atmosphere, chips & salsa were very good. They have really good cheese dip. I ordered two a la carte chimichangas. One beef and the other chicken. I will say the chicken was much better than the beef. My son ordered the kids chicken strips and fries. He loved the fries but not the strips. I tried the strips also and I would very much not recommend them. They had a lot of other options for kids meals, you should pick one of them instead. The prices were very reasonable.
