I remember going here back in 2007 for a laptop repair. I was young, naive, and unaware of the red flags. I remember the first time my parents took me there, I was skeptical of the name “xpress” and the lack of professionalism in their name and the questionable outer appearance of the store. I had nowhere else to turn, so we took my laptop in and were told it would be no problem, they’d call us in a few days. Weeks had passed and still nothing. We stopped back in the store and were told they’re still working on it. Again, weeks past and we call them on the phone. They are still working on it. Now several months go by and we stopped in again, only to be told that they could not fix it. They didn’t charge us for the service (obviously) but kept the laptop. I’m not exactly sure what happened here but I always suspected they repaired the computer and kept it for themselves or sold it for profit as refurbished (the store was covered from floor to ceiling with refurbished tech). I still think about it from time to time. Has this happened to anyone else? After another shop gave me a vague and overpriced diagnosis, Josh quickly helped me figure out exactly what was wrong — just the power supply. He explained clearly what kind of PSU I needed, and even offered the option to either buy it from them or bring my own.

Me/my family have taken three PC's here and each one has been serviced perfectly. We even had lightening hit our house and fried our PC. We asked if our hard drive was intact (it was, luckily!) and they held it there while we got a new PC and they transferred all our files directly to the new PC.
