I have high marks for Pastor Skip and his sermons which are heavily based on scripture and easy to understand. Pastor Skip causes me to want to get deeper into my Bible and makes it relateable. His sincerity and warmth come through, whether in person, or on a video sermon.
The congregation is equally warm and sincere. I felt welcome here the first time I came.
This is a great church for families. There is a lot for parents and kids to do and to get involved with here.
I don't think the new worship leader works. The new guy Vince is impossible to sing along to. He does not sing the melodies straight, he improvs and jams too much, he calls it "throwing down." The arrangements, key changes, rhythms and what-not are too hard to sing along to. And I personally didn't like being made fun of for the way we clap.

There was a homeless man there in the dinning room one night talking to another person about something, nothing concerning the church and church staff went and told p.i.n. staff what was said and p.i.n. staff put the man out! The men and women were not allowed to smoke outside together, we had separate smoking areas! This is the very worst church to stay at for winter shelter!
