I don’t know what kind of magic Robbie possesses, but my natural hair has never looked better. I used to never want to wear it down unless I styled it with heat first because it never looked very nice without harsh styling. Robbie took the time to ask what I normally do with my hair and how I usually style it (which is ideally air drying and not needing to style much at all), and walked me through as he was cutting my hair what he thought would look nice and be relatively low maintenance. He was 100% correct. My go-to style is now air dried and down with zero heat styling (I thought that was impossible for my kind of hair). It has layers and moves exactly the way I always dreamed of. So far I have only had cuts and blow dries (which I love… I used to stretch out as far as possible between cuts because it seemed like a waste of money when I didn’t love the product, and now I’m checking my calendar waiting for enough time to pass before I can go back but still grow my hair out), but I do plan on letting Robbie work his magic with adding some color/dimension over the summer (something I have never trusted a hair stylist with before). Also, the salon is gorgeous. Soothing atmosphere. Calming colors. Wish my home looked (and smelled) like that. And if that’s not enough, Robbie is a gem and a riot. RL & Co Salon is the absolute best!!!! Robbie has created the most welcoming and beautiful environment for any salon I have ever been to. He somehow manages to work magic on my hair every time I come in, whether it’s just a trim or coloring it with red highlights or blonde highlights!! He has an outstanding eye for the skill behind cutting, coloring and styling hair. Not only do these skills make his salon so awesome, but he is the most genuine and hilarious individual / best friend I have. Robbie has been cutting my hair for the last 2 years and he has given me the best haircuts I’ve had in my entire adult life! The first time he ever cut my hair he explained his technique and how it might look different from the way other stylists have cut my hair. It was at that moment he had a client for life!
