Seaside Lanes At NAS Dam Neck Annex (Military Access Only) — Local services in Virginia Beach

This is a two sided review. First side, the staff here is always great. Mike, Roger and Ms. Peggy are always friendly and go out of their way to help customers. Staff gets 5 stars.

Second side, this place is very poorly managed. We bowl a Thursday night league, in the fall months the place is incredibly hot and humid with no AC, in the winter it's freezing cold. They are always out of something. Most of the time it's tap beer or soda and some menu items. TJ is never there addressing problems and has zero interest in making this alley better. In all honesty I have never seen TJ in this bowling alley.

It's disheartening because of the entry level Sailors and Marines stationed here are forced to go out in town to do something. MWR and TJ need to get together and...

We have called 2 days in a row...and a man named "T.J." answers the phone and then acts like he can't hear....he repeats, "hellllllo" several times AFTER you have mentioned what you are calling about. This has happened 4/18/17 & today, 4/19/17. We called using different phones (and fyi, there are no issues with either of them for anyone else!). I guess this guy thinks he is funny or maybe really can't figure out his own phone is on mute (?!) but it's unprofessional. We were calling about birthday party prices, but couldn't actually speak to anyone- so forget it!!!

side note, added 2 stars since the bowling alley itself is half decent, kind of outdated but typical establishment, it's on base....but won't rate higher due to this recent nonsense...

I dont know how Tyler is still working here. Terrible attitude, he was sitting in the back eating chips on his phone the whole time I was there. Anytime I asked him something he acted like I was bothering him. He was laying down (litterally on his back) in the back room playing on his phone. This place is a joke. When, who I think is the manager came in he was in the podium the whole time. Clearly scared to act like that in front of him. The only reason this place is good is the cheap booze and cheap food. The sad part is when I was in, the kitchen was shut down. If you're looking to drink for cheap, with terrible service. This...
