Frostbite Furniture — Local services in Virginia

We have had a very negative experience with Frostbite Furniture. We entrusted them with refinishing our table, leaves and chairs. It took longer than expected, which was fine with us; but when they delivered it to us we saw that the table top and leaves were very poorly finished; the surface was rough and bubbly. We told them we were not satisfied and they took it back to redo. It was very similar again on return to us. Jen gave several excuses; “the sprayer was malfunctioning, the viscosity of the lacquer wasn’t ideal” ; she also told us nothing more could be done as there was not enough veneer to redo it. We then took it to a refinish er in our area, who redid it beautifully and told us the job by Frostbite had been done incorrectly and that the lacquer just peeled off. We did call Jen to ask that she refund us the portion we paid for the tabletop and leaves. NO RESPONSE, not even a call back. We have paid double now to get this right. Very poor customer service and very poor work on the table refinishing. Would defined not recommend. Amateur refinishing...

Frostbite Furniture is a top notch business! Jen and Mark and the entire staff do excellent high quality work. They all are very perfection oriented. They refinished our antique mantel piece for our fireplace as well as our bedroom set . All of the pieces have very detailed design. Everything looks absolutely beautiful. All of our pieces turned out exactly as we wanted. Jen and Mark are very patient and will work with you to get exactly what you want. Frostbite Furniture recently refinished my dining room table, which was given to me by my grandmother. The table was given to grandma by her mother when my grandma was married in1911. The table is solid oak with ornate decoration on the legs. When I first saw the finished table I was so amazed. It was breathtakingly beautiful .
