Webb Nature Sanctuary — Local services in Virginia

Per the signage, the Dragonfly Trail is a .5 mile loop. It can be steep in certain parts with uneven terrain, probably not the best for strollers or those with bad joints. Once you get to the bottom of the trail -- about halfway through the loop -- it opens up to beautiful canopied field. The nature is simply wonderful.

When you get to the the halfway point, there is an outlet to the 8 Acre Park -- another beautiful walk. Lots of beautiful spots for a picnic...

Very small place kind of hard to find. The signage for parking versus the private residence was kind of confusing and we drove into their yard before realizing the first section was the parking area. This trail leads to another trail and another park. Wear tons and tons of mosquito spray. We re-appplied deep woods off bug spray during the hike like it was cheap perfume two times and we still had a few bites...

Lovely evening stroll with no one around. The path is extremely well maintained. Birds throughout. Can’t wait to see how it looks in...
