Very upset with the way they run their business!! I tried to cancel my services due to my circumstances changing and I no longer can afford internet. They were very rude and insensitive to my situation, they were going to charge me 100 more to get my router and modem taken out- which in turn nobody ever showed me how to take them out, there was a technician who came to move my boxes every time!! Even when I had water damage!! As a business, this is something that they NEED to make new customers aware of. 100 dollars is spendy and very expensive to some people especially like me!! Read moreFiber optic internet that is so slow you can’t even watch a Roku. Fiber optic is supposed to be symmetrical speeds such as 100 download/100 upload. Not 100 download/10 upload. Fiber across the country is running up to 10 gig speeds right now. They have us set at 50mbps/5mbps. This kind of speed is the same as 1990 internet speeds. We changed to fiber in 2020 and ordered the gig speed. We received it and it was great! All of a sudden they say we have 50/5 speeds. Absolute rip off. Long story short here is that fiber optic internet is the future and is the best. Yet Arvig is slowing down their internet speed somehow and still calling it fiber optic.
