Had great experience with re-roof on our 19 year old roof almost 20 years. First we had Cen-Tex come out to re-repair another job another person did 2-3 years ago and they did a great job. Also at that time 2-3 years ago they said we did not need a re-roof, so greatly appreciated honesty.

We called, they came out quickly to do another repair and we suggested to go ahead and re-roof since almost 20 year old roof.

They came and started at 7am sharp. They let us know up front everything they would do and how long it would take. They stayed and finished the job in 1 day, 7am-8:16pm-lots of works, and lots of hard workers, not standing around, smoking, phone texting, etc., but working which was nice.

Wanted 50% down up front, and I had to ask how to make last payment after job was completed, meaning they were not there the min. the job was done wanting the last of the money.

They got us in quickly, originally out work wise about 3 wks., but they got us in, in 2wks. They were professional. I was able to reach office staff. Staff called back quickly with straight forward answers.

My husbands work schedule is really different, sleep during day, work at night and off only few days so they really accommodated his working schedule.

The noise was minimal.

We were not required to be at the house during the day. We were in and out all day long.

Hedges and other plants were well taken care of and covered and not damaged

We had a great experience current now for a re-roof, plus we had 1 repair we wanted on an over-ease, and they also pointed out another repair to base of fireplace where critters always try to get in, in the winter so we appreciate them pointed this out. They also perfectly matched the board roof color trim

On our first repair was it expense, yes, but they were well worth it, did the job correct, would have come back out if we had issues until the issues was no longer there with no extra cost-and everyone is expensive, but I would rather pay a little more and you come out and do it correct the first time and know if I have issues I can call you back and I do not get the run around

My experience with Cen-Tex Roofing Systems was "outstanding"! It started a few years ago, when I noticed a gentleman in my neighborhood driving their vehicle. I had a small question about my roof, and he just got out his ladder and popped right up there and fixed it, at no charge to me. But he gave me his business card, which I stuck on my refrigerator. His name was "Jerry", and he only asked that I keep them in mind for any future needs I might have.

Fast-forward a few years to August-September 2025. My home insurance agent told me I would be having an "independent inspection", and my roof ended up as one of the problem areas. I called Jerry, and he came out and inspected it, gave me a fair estimate via email, coordinated the repairs, and spent a lot of time communicating with me, answering the myriad of questions I had, etc. He definitely went "beyond the call of duty"! He even made a special trip to my home to take several photos of my roof after it was repaired, because my insurance agent required them. By all rights, he could have just said: ''we did the work, you paid us, goodbye". But he didn't. He even composed a special email that he sent to my agent with a statement on my roof's estimated remaining life, with all of the photos attached. It meant a lot to me, because I was facing cancellation of my policy, and my agent was not going to climb up on my roof to take photos. (And I'm too old to risk going up there myself).

Had this company give me an estimate for replacing a roof on my investment property. The representative chase mallard was very unprofessional and unprepared for the interview for the job and did not represent his company well. When I called I asked about a whole roof replacement and after he was there inspecting the roof he asked why I wanted the roof repaired and I then explained i do not want repairs I need it replaced. I have dealt with a company like this for foundations and it's not a good sign when they can't relay information properly. He did not have any estimate contracts with him so he wrote the numbers out of a piece of paper and told them to me verbally. I asked for an email to be sent to me so I can compare to the other companies and he said he was unable to. I called back 2 weeks later to see about the estimate and scheduling and they did not have record of the estimate. I then spoke with Dan whom deals with the representatives due to his representative not reforming his job properly and he apologized very insencerly about his representative and explain they are based on commission and he may not have thought he would make a sale so he didn't feel the need to draw a document up. Also to get another representative out would be in January. I was interested in this company because of word of mouth but this company I dealt with does not appear to be the same value as before that my family and friends used.
