We came to Waco to visit the Waco Mammoth National Monument, a new unit of the National Park Service. So worth it! This sweet campground is only 11 miles away. The pull-thru sites are long and wide. The only downside is there's no tornado shelter that we could find. The hosts are so nice and friendly. They have an outdoor barbeque kitchen. We camped in a 30-foot fifth wheel for two nights. Our Verizon phone works well. We would definitely stay here again.

We chose Deer Crossing RV Park for our week long visit to Waco. Our main reason for that was the reasonable rates and the dog enclosure our dogs need love being able to wrestle and run. We came during bluebonnet season, it was beautiful, very friendly and welcoming owners. Loved that they had a hose ready for use to dump on our way out, so we didn’t have to dig ours out. Will stay again for sure!

Was here for the 4/8/24 total eclipse. Debbie and Don have a wonderful place here. They are very nice people and Debbie was a total gem to deal with and was so patient and pleasant with me. I really appreciate the hospitality. Here are some pictures of a day we will never forget. PS. Debbie is so sweet she made the clouds disappear for the eclipse. God must really like her.

My husband and I recently visited Waco for some hiking and shopping. We chose Deer Crossing RV Park without knowing where we would end up. We were delightfully surprised when we pulled into this very small, but immaculate RV park with roomy pull through slots that easily accommodates our 45' RV. The owners were very friendly and extremely helpful in every way. The park is small and has a few amenities including a dog run area, community grill, picnic table, strong wi-fi, dump station and a washer and dryer in the office. We were not looking to be at the park very much, so this place was perfect for us. It is in the country and very quiet and peaceful. Located off of Hwy 6, the park is just a few miles from most anything in the area. If you do stay here, you must try Helberg BBQ, which is maybe a 1/4 mile from the RV park. It is quite possibly the best BBQ I have every had. If a small, quiet park is what you are looking for, give this...

The park owners are very friendly and were even apologetic about the extreme rain they had that softened up all the grounds. It's a brand new RV park so right off the bat there aren't any real thrills just yet but they did mention having a dog run, laundry room and some other things added in the near future. The spots all have sewage, fresh water and 20-30-50 amp hookups. Plenty of space to navigate and accommodate large rigs. We spent a lot of time in downtown Waco and it's only a short 20-25 minute drive. Gas stations nearby within a few minutes but nicely located on a small road to give that feeling of country living. Very quiet at night which is super important to RV'ers since they aren't exactly sound proof. I would stay again should I come back to Waco. I highly recommend you have jack pads for your jacks especially if it's been rainy and definitely get you some type of carpet at your front door to lessen tracking in...

We were there from December 3 - 7, 2020. The owners are new but great. Also a newer park. Quiet and clean plus not too large. Debbie and Don are very Cordial and helpful. I needed some laundry cleaned But did not have the time to do it myself. Debbie will do your laundry for a reasonable fee. She did an awesome job on our clothes. It was so nice to go out for the day and come back to the park having all your laundry washed, dried and folded. If you are in need of a nice park with a good location to Waco, TX, Deer Crossing is the place to stay. If we ever pass your way again, we will stop by and stay awhile. Thank you for your...
