This was our second time using Scotland Granite. We used them for my son's kitchen remodel and my kitchen as well, so repeat customer. They were very professional and went above and beyond to make sure the job and all the measurements were accurate. Thank you Herbie and Freddie the owners. I had an older 36 inch vintage stove that I wanted to keep until it actually stopped working and because I love the way it cooks. They assured me that when I was ready to purchase a new stove, they would help me through the process and adjust my countertops if needed. Edwin is definitely the salesperson to use if possible. As I've read other reviews and he is the "granite man." He is a smooth talker but he has excellent taste, extremely personable and professional. I spent months looking at other places for granite in my price point and as well as flooring. Edwin helped me find my flooring and a countertop on my 1st visit. I was looking for him because he helped us with the first remodel and I remembered him. Edwin, Herbie, Freddie, and Sherry took care of all my concerns and I was about to make a mistake with my sink and use a smaller size but I'm glad I took Edwin's advice on what would look good. My one point of dissatisfaction was with the plummer that installed my faucet that they use ro install the faucet. Morton's Plumbing was very expensive in my opinion and I wish I could have used my own person for this. My countertops were installed two days ago. From start to finish, the professionalism delivered by this company was second to none. Because my kitchen has a few quirks, Freddie returned with Herbie, before installation and after Herbie had measured the job, to discuss the best way to handle certain aspects. During installation, Freddie consulted with me several times to be sure he knew my preference. Tamara totally knows her stuff and is a delight to work with. When the plumber I had scheduled to install my sink and faucet the same day as granite installation had to cancel because of a family emergency, Sherrie even contacted and scheduled a plumber for me--who was fabulous, too, and willing to come last minute! Freddie and his team bent over backwards to work around the plumber in a small space so that I could have a fully functional kitchen for the weekend. Got my new countertops today. They’re nice that isn’t the problem! . My complaint and concern is I wasn’t told that they would leave me with the new sink installed without a drain, faucet and pipes even the removal of my pipes that were on my old sink. I was left with no water and no means of getting it unless I hire a plumber. Had I been told, I could have had one lined up and ready to complete the job and have the added expense allocated. I feel I was totally mislead and those facts weren’t told to me for fear I wouldn’t have had it done and she’s correct! I DEFINITELY wouldn’t. I have the added expense of the supplies for the sink and the plumber. $$$ hundreds after having paid Scotland Granite in the Thousands ++++++++ Totally frustrated and disillusioned that business is handled in this manner. Deception doesn’t make one prosper only to lose in the end!!!...
