Doug is not only an excellent sale rep for Clayton but a kind and warm human being! Mike Johnson, the sales manager, is also kind as well as funny and extremely knowledgeable! Francine is super kind-hearted, genuine , and very knowledgeable! Finally, Chris Wilkinson is helpful, kind, and runs a wonderful branch of Clayton Homes. I am familiar with the home buying process, and I know how tedious and overwhelming this can be. But Doug and the entire team from Clayton Homes of Youngsville have made the daunting task of home buying absolutely enjoyable! My wife and I had bought our house in Oxford via a realtor back in 2021 and thought it would be our home til our kids graduated and moved on. Then, life had other plans, and the money we saved to start a business became the funds to buy my mother and father a mobile home close by due to my father's quickly failing health. Suddenly, my father passed, and my Mom moved in due to her health needs, and we found ourselves building a wall for my baby to have a space because Grandma needed her room. So we startred looking at houses and are astonished out how crazy the market is. I told my wife that we should see Clayton and that I was confident they could help. Sure enough, Doug found us the perfect home, and we are now getting a brand new 4 bedroom home and land we will own for less than the stick built houses we looked at just weeks before. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Do NOT buy a house from them. I've been dealing with them for YEARS after they signed a contract saying they would fix any damages to my house. They refused to fix anything after the first year because they took too long to get to everything that needed to be fixed, so they just told me my time ran out, when that's not the case. One of the maintenance guys that started off helping me got booted quick because he was "helping me too much" aka actually doing his job. Then they sent someone out once every few months to fix a couple of things but never getting the job done, until they finally stopped all communication with me. They even tried to bribe me for a good review. I lost hundreds of dollars in repairs they promised. None of my outside doors shut correctly, cracks everywhere, toilet and bathtub are messed up and leak because instead of sending a plumber they sent a maintenance man to "fix" it, half of the lights don't work, the list goes on. My house stayed in the same spot for 2 years while I waited for them to fix the issues before I had to move it btw, so they should have had everything fixed by then, which means the warranty was not voided. This place is terrible i had a house built 2 years I've talked directly with gm Chris Wilkins about getting my driveway fixed since the first week I lived there he's told me 2 times that he was sending somebody and they never showed me and my neighbors 4 others around me have been with there how 3 3of us for 2 years 1 for 4 years and all of our houses ha e completely fallen apart if you want a cheap house that's fairly easy to get go with them but it will only last you a year if u want to know anything about them contact me I'll let u know and show you proof that your house will take 18 months to be built and it won't stay a nice house as long as it takes them to build it still today just like the day I moved in my cabinet doors are falling off and my sink fell through the uncut hole they put it in and tried to glue it on instead of using the proper cooking I promise you if u buy from clayton homes you will have problems from the day you move in until the day you try to move out and r house isn't worth anything but the property it sits on good luck and...
