I have used health village imaging in the past and it was alright nothing special but the experience I had this time is none I have ever experienced before. I received a call a few days before my scheduled MRI and a lady named Melissa was so utterly disrespectful invasive demeaning and rude. After numerous phone calls to insurance, my doctor's etc. I kept getting the same answer that I gave her on our first phone call which was I didn't need a pre auth for the MRI. She then demanded I give her my doctor and she said she would call me back after she talked to them. I called her back she stated "she still hasn't heard from them" but when I called my doctor they told me they already talked to her THREE TIMES and she was harassing them as well. Melissa was informed by numerous different people that I did not require a pre auth for this MRI and she still could not grasp it. My doctor's and I were eventually made extremely uncomfortable after hours of harassing behavior and we had decided it would be best to go somewhere else because we were now concerned the quality of our MRI could be affected based off the unprofessionalism...
Read moreI just called this office 1/5/2016 to try to schedule an MRI for my mom. My mom cannot walk but can maneuver from her chair to the MRI table with little assistant. Although my family would have went with her to this appointment this office just denied giving her an MRI in there facility because of her wheelchair and her weight. Although they have the facilities to do it they will not. It was Joan and another lady and there technician who said NO because of her wheelchair. Then at the end of the conversation the lady said the technician said NO and we don't know if our wheelchair will hold her. Unreal. So first they discriminated against her coming in her own wheelchair saying that the wheelchair can't be in the room with the MRI equipment. Then she says that there wheelchair will not hold her. Read moreKept waiting past my appointment time. Made to change into a gown though I was not made to do so for three consecutive MRIs at HMJSUMC’s MRI facility with the same outfit. At the end, they said the disc burner was being rebooted and I could wait in the lobby for the disc. 20 minutes later, another customer mentioned to the desk that they would return for their disc as the machine was not working at all. No one said anything to me. The women administering the MRI seemed both rude and dismissive. If they ask you if you have had an MRI before and you explain that you have had many of them, they should be nicer in the hope that you will use their facility in the future instead of rude, referring to you as a pro in the most negative tone possible. May be a HM related facility, but you also have to login to an entirely new system, not Epic, to see your results. And no email back to get a login code, but they sure did email you for a review.
