Walker's Furniture & Mattress - Milton-Freewater — Local services in Walla Walla

This is the first furniture store I have ever bought from that made me assemble the furniture I bought. They came out onto the loading dock with my recliner in a box, just like Walmart, except the furniture was about 5x the price. Im very glad I didn't pay the $80.00 delivery fee to have the box dropped off at my home. Next time ill just go to Walmart.

After the sarcastic and seemingly mocking response I got to my feedback, I am even LESS likely to shop again at Walker's. It's clear they are struggling with continuing to provide passable service after the decision to no longer provide their own delivery without using an overpriced third party from the tri-cities. The tactic of trying to call what they are doing now superior to the practice of offering their own delivery of assembled furniture by their own staff at a lower price, all while trying to bury negative feedback and make customers look like fools will not help things for them...

My husband and I are considering an adjustable bed so we visited the Milton-Freewater Walker’s store to try them out and get info while we were vacationing in the PNW(permanent home is in AZ). To say we were helped by Samantha is an understatement. She was very personable, extremely knowledgeable and gave us so much useful info to consider for our purchase. She was not pushy. It was one of the best customer service experiences we’ve had in a very long time! I hope her manager appreciates her and rewards her for her outstanding customer...

Poor service in resolving product failure after 10 weeks.. Sent me to a survey site, that just has you create something.. Contacted manufacture.. Oh,,, they close at 430 eastern and I am on the west coast.. Purchase was easy.. resolving a issue.. not so much.. added note: after a series of phone calls by me to various corporate locations and calls/emails to the actual manufacture. The local company did offer full credit or replacement; buyers should gain full understanding of how this company handles...
