Discover Marble & Granite — Local services in Wallingford

The countertops, and the installation were very good. The problem is with the provided sink. After a few weeks we noticed highly visible stains and what can only be explained as “smearing”. I waited a while and performed any, all the recommended solutions. Absolutely nothing worked to remove the problems. I contacted Ben who suggested replacing the “STAINLESS STEELsink”, a process THAT requires a plumber, which is not provided, or or compensated for.. I agreed and had the plumber disconnect the fixtures. Discovery arrived, on time with a “new” sink, luckily I watched as it was being installed and noticed a dent!!! ! Round two, they left and returned with another sink, partially through I noticed SEVERAL dents… ROUND 3 they brought ANOTHER sink and installed it! Success FINALLY right??? WRONG ! It is just a few weeks and stains are reappearing 👎👎👎

Keep in mind I am $600 in too plumbing costs👎 👎👎👎 THESE SINKS ARE OBVIOUSLY DEFECTIVE! JUNK 🤮What do I do now Discovery????

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU PURCHASE YOUR OWN QUALITY SINK ELSEWHERE AND PASS ON THE “JUNK” THEY SELL AT PREMIUM PRICES!!!

Had a wonderful first impression of Discover and enjoyed working with the staff while waiting for my quartz install. HOWEVER, the installation went terribly wrong and the company has yet to acknowledge my several emails and phone calls to rectify the problem. I was informed at the installation that the space was tight between the cabinet and wall and the wall “might get scratched up a bit.” The wall was damaged with the sheetrock ripped off down to the metal in 2 areas. The stone has a very visible imperfection. The installer took pictures. I reported this the next business day to Jessie along with the photos,and asked if the installer reported my job. He did not. I was then informed that this was a tight space and “damage should have been expected!” She was also “unable to see the imperfection.” I was told to forward the bill from my contractor for the wall repair and it would be submitted to Wes.
