We stopped in and spoke with the Grandson of the original owner from Houston. He is just as pleasant and welcoming. The shop is take-out only. But they do provide two cafe tables on the sidewalk. Where you get to enjoy the breeze and the occasional train. The menu here is almost the same. He was missing the oinker and the Evita. What a pleasant surprise to find Marini’s along our route while making a day trip from the San Antonio area! We loved going to the Katy location before we moved, and this new location was such a treat for our family. The restaurant is cute and clean - fyi - take-out only for now. Customer service was great, and the labeled box with reheating instructions was absolutely super! We can’t recommend a certain flavor. Wow! Do yourself a favor and just try them all! I tried 8 and all were great! I don’t even know which one I will order next time. (THERE WILL ABSOLUTELY BE A NEXT TIME!) I originally waited to go in because I made an assumption it would be beef or chicken. Man was I wrong! No matter what flavor of food you are craving, they have an empanada for you! Asian, Italian, nacho, comfort, if you want it, they have it! The young man that took our order was passionate about their food, knowledgeable in his recommendations, and had a smile on his face the entire time we were there!
