We recently rented a seasonal site from Pleasant Acres Farm RV Resort. We purchased an RV the day before all he** broke loose with the pandemic... literally. It's been a rollercoaster with everything these days - not knowing when the campground would open, how we would be able to social distance, etc. I think that the resort did their best to keep us updated with the most information they had. Johny does just about everything there and seems to be non stop. As I mentioned, we recently got the seasonal site and the campground is still not open to anyone other than seasonal renters, activities are cancelled, the store and pool are close - BUT we feel so at peace there. We've been going every weekend to get away from reality. We find ourselves so lucky to have found this place and so fortunate to have a seasonal site.... and we just LOVE our site. We are very happy with everything and hope that we continue to be.

Pleasant acres is a good family campground. They have a pool, pool tables and lots of fun activities. The staff is extremely friendly and always ready to help you. My family and I especially love the farm animals. We can't wait to return after the winter.

My family, parents, and friends stayed at Sun Retreats Pleasant Acres from 10/3-10/6 and it was a disaster from day 1. As soon as we pulled in, unsupervised toddlers were running through our sites while we were trying to park our RVs. At night, we took our kids for a ride on the golf cart. Unbeknownst to us, because it was not disclosed during check-in, the campground is all one-way streets and we were stopped twice by an employee, informing us we were riding down the wrong way. Mind you, the second time we were stopped, there were no signs in the cross streets so we used our best judgment. While we were stopped, a seasonal camper nearly hit our golf cart in a fit of rage and proceeded to scream at us for going the wrong way past his campsite. This was a one-time occurrence since we only went around the campground one time before going back to our site after feeling unsafe with our children being exposed to the outrage. We later found out that the seasonal camper thought we were part of a group of individuals visiting from out of country that have been causing havoc throughout the campground for weeks.

The same kids that were in the way while we were setting up were continuously going through our campsite the entire weekend, their parents drove through my parents’ site, and the kids threw beer bottles and held large sticks next to our vehicles. By day two, we complained to the front office. That night, the family still proceeded to walk through our site so my husband confronted them. It became aggressive, and we felt uneasy that night with our personal belongings outside.

The next day, an incident occurred with the same group of out-of-country guests and the situation blew up. We were fed up and got into a screaming match. Security, again, did absolutely nothing. Sun Retreats needs a policy for repeated offenses. The way things were handled is enough to keep us from returning to this campground, which is a shame because, all issues aside, the campground was very well maintained and in a beautiful setting. We have camped for decades and have never experienced such negligence in ensuring the safety and comfortability of guests from any other campground...

This was THE most expensive campground we stayed at on our cross country trip, having stayed at 30 different very nice campgrounds! (Just to be clear, after we left Sun Retreats, we stayed a different campground which was beautiful and had a wonderful pool, and the price was $47.50/night.) This is a very pretty property and a nice campground with a decent amount of space between sites, but for $84 / night, it’s ridiculous. One would expect a lot more than this campground has to offer. Yes, there is working WIFI and some lambs and goats. The bathrooms and showers are extremely far away from most of the sites. The bathrooms / showers are older and extremely small, but clean. The laundry is fine (it’s in an old garage) and there’s a nice playground. There is NO pool or hot tub. There are many seasonal folks here. We’ve stayed at MANY campgrounds in our cross-country trips, and typically, campgrounds with these amenities run anywhere from $35 - $60. This is a nice campground, but it's WAAAYY too expensive.

We talked to several of the seasonal folks here, and they told us that even though the pool and hot tub were supposed to be up and running this summer season (2023), the required permits hadn’t been applied for until May 22. They said they are frustrated as the campground has really gone downhill over the last...

We used to be seasonals for five years with the original owner we have not been back to the campground for a number of years when we booked we were excited to share the experience with our grandchildren that their parents had coming up on a dismantled under construction swimming pool was disheartening as well as seeing that the mini golf was no longer there when booking our campsite, we should’ve been told that both of those things were not available as far as the amenities the upgraded playground is very nice. The pillow pad is funny enough but when we were trying to continue our family tradition with playing mini golf and having ice cream on Sunday evening, it was upsetting that we were not able to do that as far as the pool well you really need to update your website right now because there’s a lot of people coming over the next few weeks and if you don’t have a pool whether you have new temporary water games and stuff people are not going to want to pay the money that you charge if they are not going to have a pool! It’s not that we won’t be back. I just think that you can’t...
