We've been here twice so far and will continue to return. Their homemade bread is incredible so we'd recommend ordering anything that includes that! The most basic of sandwiches, ham and cheese, becomes delectable when served on their bread. The menu is pretty limited but provides enough options for most. The ham and cheese sandwich was obviously of great quality but we would strongly recommend something other than fish and chips. 🚫

They also make homemade pies and he loved the cherry and it was a very healthy serving. (Maybe they gave an oversized portion because he hardly ate his lunch?)

It could be confusing the difference between the deluxe burger on the menu and on the chalkboard special, besides a few dollars; but service is friendly and attentive so just ask.

Finally, bring cash--or you have to leave your boyfriend behind and head south four miles to...

Been here twice in the past couple of years. Had the lunch special on my first visit, a very good pork sandwich with cheese and bbq sauce. My most recent was the fried chicken dinner with fries and gravy, with blueberry pie and chocolate ice cream. The food here is very good, all home made deserts.

Parking is usually plentiful, rarely crowded, always friendly staff. The hours here changed due to lack of staffing so Mon-Thurs they are only open for breakfast and lunch (8am-3pm), Friday-Sunday they are open from 8am-7pm for all meals.

Small menu, but delicious options nonetheless. I wish I lived closer to come by more often, but I live an hour and a half away (on a good day) and am only in the area to visit my in-laws at their camper. I may have to make a special trip up here more often because it will definitely be worth it.

Please try the pies, they...

Elias Cole is such a good, homemade, simple menu, small place that feels just right for you and your family. Nancy (The Owner) is just amazing as a boss, as a cook, and as a mentor. Elias Cole was my first job, I believe I was 17y/o (1997) when I began waitressing there. Being my first job, I was a nervous wreck and Nancy took me under her wing and gave me the guidance I needed, to be a good employee and waitress. The menu is pretty basic but that's probably bc Nancy makes nearly all of it (with the exception of the baking) fresh, daily. IDK how she does it but the food is ALWAYS PHENOMENAL, no matter when you go there. I was there recently and was very happy to see that the menu is still basically the same and the food is soooo good, like I remembered it being. I give you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s! Keep up...

It is a cash-only business, but we were on vacation so we were prepared for that. We weren't prepared for poor service. We came right at the change of shift, and somehow fell through the cracks of service. There was a waitress who was leaving, and she obviously cared, as she came over several times before she left. The younger waitress was apologetic in her words, but she didn't really check on us, except when she brought our food. I ordered a cup of beef barley soup, but she brought the potato soup and then didn't come back to check. The other waitress fixed it. The food was good, though.

Stopped on a ride through nj - ordered Elias burger and fish and chips. Tried the pies blueberry and lemon meringue! They were yummy. The fries were good. The bread was really good. It’s made at the restaurant as are the pies. My burger was killed even though I said rare 3 times. The food was brought and the waitress never came back soooo I ate the burger. They never asked if we wanted another drink. Not sure if was just the tent service since covid and they are discombobulated and things take longer or this is how they usually are.
