Good place to get appliances at a decent price, but don't expect the same level of service after the purchase. Really no better than Home Depot or Lowes on the sales side. Much worse on the service side.
We purchased our kitchen appliances here because we wanted to spend our money with a local business. We even purchased an extended service contract on a couple of the appliances. Sadly we bought Samsung appliances and they are garbage.
The service department is routinely 1-2 weeks out scheduling their extended warranty service appointments, so hopefully you have a spare fridge/stove if you're relying on their service department. This was true pre-pandemic but of course the last time I called they claimed the delays were covid related.
Somehow other appliances repair companies can make it out in 2-3 days to diagnose, but Cluett's is in such high demand it takes them 2 weeks. Either that or they already got your money when you bought the extended warranty so they couldn't care less about providing you with timely service.
Twice they've given me a 9-11am window, and the tech decided to show up at 8 because he lives down the street and it was more convenient for him to show up at 8. Guess his convenience is more important than my schedule.
They've been out to my house 4 times since 2018 over this ice maker. 1st to diagnose, then a week or two later to fix the problem each time. Each time the tech complains about the poor product design as if prepping me for the realization that they can't actually fix my problem and the service contract was a complete waste of time & money.
This is par for the course with their entire service department from the service manager on down to the service techs. If you tell them you're unsatisfied with how long it takes for them to schedule, they try to tell you your unreasonable expecting them to show up in a few days and they're competitors are usually 3-4 weeks out. From their perspective 9-14 days to come out & diagnose a problem is more than reasonable (not fix the problem - that still requires waiting for parts). In fact they were trying to do you a favor by scheduling you so quickly. They also love interrupting you mid-sentence to disagree with you and again tell you how much they're going out of their way to help you.
They simply do not provide the level of service I expect from anyone I hire. You'll get better/faster service from the cable/gas/electric company.
Don't waste your time or money trying to use their...
Read moreWhen I went in to buy three appliances the owner of the company was very gracious and helpful. After that you could never get through to him ever again and he never returned phone calls. There are two women who work in the office who know absolutely nothing and yet they excessively screen his phone calls and refused to put me through to him even when he called me and asks for a callback. This is actually insane and when I finally got through to him he didn’t understand that when he asks for a callback from a purchaser there is no reason for his two female body guards to interrogate the customer only to have the customer have to repeat the story again to the owner. One time I called and a nasty lady asked me what company I was with and it took repeated efforts to convince her that I was a client spending thousands of dollars on appliances. Whew. It shouldn’t be so hard to give money. After this happened repeatedly I finally cancelled my entire order of three appliances because it does not bode well for the level of service that one would get going forward so I would strongly suggest you avoid this establishment because they are really a pretty bad...
