I tell everyone I talk to this is God's Land! It is one of my absolute favorite stops to make. And if saying it that way isn't your thing, this place is just simply amazing. I like to go through the main of Ashton, and then hit Lower Mesa Falls to the Upper. I usually don't come in for Harrison National Park. But you drive right through Harrison National Park and Targee National Forest. The trees here are as tall as you can imagine, it's green, and sometimes depending on when you go it's covered in spots of snow. As of May 10th 2021 there parking fee bored says there is no "fee this season" but I don't know when that will end or why it's there... but usually depending on vehicle and length of stay it is a fee like $5 for cars. Lower Mesa Falls is free to pull into, but Upper Mesa Falls is usually not. But it is all worth it in my opinion. If you want something truly beautiful to see, stop for yourself and...

This is one my family's favorite places to visit on a day trip. My wife took me there on our second date and ever since it has had a special place in our hearts. The lower falls are free to visit however the upper falls have an entrance fee. Both are well worth the visit. Great views and the beautiful walking trails are a must do for anyone. Both lower and upper falls are handicap accessible so everyone can enjoy the beauty of this wonderful place. If you have never been I highly recommend visiting this wonderful place or have been there many times it is always...

I went with my family of little kids, all under 7 years old. The observation point is pretty distant from the falls, but it is still a great view. I guess there are trails that lead down, but they would have to involve switchbacks and wouldn't have been doable by my kids.

We visited the lower falls first, then got a close up view when we visited the upper falls, which seemed fun to them. There was a $5 fee for the upper falls and nothing for the lower. There were bathrooms...

The Mesa Falls are absolutely amazing! I visited for the first time ever on 10/7/23. Perfect fall weather! The trees were changing colors, and the waterfalls were extremely beautiful! Very well maintained. There are great views of the mountains, and the lower falls from the observation area, which are just as breathtaking! I do wish there was a pathway to get closer to the Lower Mesa Falls. None the less, still an amazing waterfall. I will definitely visit the falls again!
