First snow fall of the season, Nov 3rd. This is a VERY short hike from the parking lot to the fall. You must take stairs and be careful as they do quickly get slick in the snow. The views were next level beautiful, we didn’t walk down to the lower falls as it was still snowing and we were not sure about the rental SUV. I was told it wasn’t very far down the path. The road to get to the falls felt really long in the bad weather and it wasn’t cleared at all but I do not have a single regret about going. It was worth the white knuckle drive 😆 We plan to return in the summer but I’m not sure the winter view with the snow can be beat!

This is a place you can go to over and over. We weren't able to get in last year but this year it was nice to have the VC open. The water was really flowing and there was still some ice along the waterfall. It is getting harder and harder for handicap visitors to see the falls when the trees are at their fullest. We saw several wheelchairs who had to stay up near the top since there are a lot of stairs to get down to the falls. There is a nice picnic area newer the parking lot. There is also an area for RVs and trailers. It is always relaxing listening to the falls.

Upper Mesa Falls is a must-see gem in the Rexburg area. The short hike to the waterfall offers a wonderful experience that is truly worth it. The falls themselves are absolutely breathtaking, with the water cascading down in a mesmerizing display of nature's power. The $5 park fee is a small price to pay for the beauty and tranquility you'll encounter. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply seeking a peaceful escape, Upper Mesa Falls is an enchanting destination that won't disappoint.

Stop for a visit, no matter how much or little time you have. You could be here for a long time, exploring the trails and just soaking (literally) in the views. The visitor's center and all the signage make it very educational for all ages. Or, if you have just a few minutes, walk the easy (mostly accessible) trail to see the grandeur of the falls. It's a quick walk and you will start to plan a future re-visit. The vault toilets are immaculately clean and even have wildlife murals inside, which...
