We had my son’s 7th birthday party here recently. He enjoyed the party, so I’ll give it two stars for that, but overall it felt very chaotic and disorganized. We spent the first 15 minutes of the party waiting for kid’s size balls to be brought over while the kids were running around being told to wait to bowl. We had an 11am party, so the whole place was empty and we must have walked over to check on them three times and they kept saying they were coming. That went over very well as you can imagine. I spent most of the two hours running back and forth grabbing things we needed. When you have a party, there is no one assigned to help you, so expect to run back and forth refilling drink pitchers, grabbing napkins, and removing empty trays and trash. I actually felt like I was working there. I had to go back for more plates no less than 6 times. It was a joke, they were giving me about 5 plates at a time for a large party with appetizers, pizza, and cake and every time I had to stand at the food area for a few minutes until I could get someone’s attention so I could be like "yep, me again, more plates". The food also took really long to come out. I was told 15 minutes prior to when I wanted it to put the order in. I would say it took more like 45+ minutes and the kids were starting to complain about how hungry they were. They also said they "don’t do party tables any more" so the kids were eating all over the place as there wasn't a defined place to sit down and eat and it was very disorganized. We awkwardly gathered around the small bowling table to sing happy birthday because we didn’t know where...

I felt like they didn't want my family to bowl. Also while doing remodeling inside, they placed my family right next to loud power tools at lane 22. In my opinion, if they actually cared about people, then they would have noticed that we had a young child with us and should have placed us away from the construction noise. My son even wondered into the contruction area on accident and was told to leave the area, which complicated our time out and he could have been injured. Just sloppy careless attitudes will not earn our business back unless we shop again and the general attitude is welcoming. Like for instance... Thanks for bowling today how can I help you. Instead of the silent treatment we received from the moment we entered to the moment we left. At one point I asked people at the counter for help.. Yes someone helped me, but what made it so odd, is that none of the staff acknowledged our need.1 person seemed to respond and walked off into the back room, all the others stood there staring at me. I didn't know if that person was helping me or just walking away b.c they don't speak. It was Erie and strange to be there. Did not enjoy the way itade us all feel out of place. We haven't been there in 2 years. I will improve my rating if I ever try again. Also they attempted to charge us 10$ too much. We almost left on the spot for that. This seems to be the cleanest and up to date bowling alley in our area. When they have lanes available it is a nice place to bowl. Unfortunately there have been two or three instances that we have been turned away to bowl (with this last occurrence today being well prepared for.). We called ahead of time to make a reservation and were told that for 6 o’clock we could not make same day reservations but there were plenty of lanes open. We got there closer to 7 and we’re told there were no available lanes until 10pm due to reservations made and bowling leagues. This would have been information that would have been valuable if given over the phone. So for the third time we had to leave with an upset child. The other time I can recall being turned away seemed a bit sketchy. There appeared to be lanes opened but we were told they were not. They could have been very well telling the truth but it did not feel right. I believe We will give them one more try although I can’t say for sure I’m in the mood to keep being turned away.
