I was having overheating issues with a Day 1 Nintendo Switch. My temporary solution finally started failing years later, so I was in big need of a repair. Being old school, I never even considered that locally people work on proprietary systems nowadays. After getting a quote from other places, one wanting to charge me as much as a new system for the small things I needed done and unwilling to work on it this year, I kept searching.

J Games & Repair showed up on Yelp, Facebook, and Youtube as a local business that could possibly do the job. I took a chance, gave them a call just to see if my repair was something they did. Thank goodness it was.

I already knew I needed a new internal fan, as well as a reapplication of thermal paste. I also ended up finding out that my battery had "pillowed" from longtime use which also caused the top of the Switch casing to bow out and separate, obviously another heating issue. Joe was able to point this out and fix everything, all three issues. Pretty quick fixes if you have the tools and knowledge which Joe definitely did. My Day 1 Nintendo Switch now looks and operates good as new thanks to J Games & Repair.

The price quoted to me was extremely reasonable for what needed to be done which is why I was willing to make the drive to the business, and Joe even graciously accommodated some time for me to wait on the repair. The customer service both on the phone and in-person was excellent. We scheduled a time and everything turned out as planned. Joe was very easy to develop a rapport with in my interaction with him.

I could not reccommend J Games & Repair enough, whether it be for cell phone, hand-held, or console, issues small or large.
