Lincoln's Country Store — Local services in Warren

The best hidden gem of all MidCoast Maine! I would have never in a million years gone into this convenience store had it not been for a FB marketplace exchange!! lol. The seller asked if we could meet here because it was halfway between our homes and they’ll use any excuse to get the store’s potato salad. When I pulled up I thought the person must have pretty low standards, but that didn’t track with how they presented themselves. Curiosity got the best of me, and rather than driving away, I followed her into the store to see what the fuss was all about. At first it looked like any other tiny shop, but when I went to the back for the potato salad and discovered the meat counter, I was blown away! My purchases from that day did not disappoint, and I continued to go back for more. Fast forward to today, I have come to know and respect the owner,Dale. He is passionate about providing the best meats possible to his customers, and it shows! He has created an impressive line of seasonings called Hops and Chops, which are all tasty. Given the small size of the store, they’ve managed to stock a nice variety of items, including some surprising foods you wouldn’t expect to find like shallots in a jar and kimchi. But the real star of the show is the meat - everything from tomahawks, dry aged cuts, bourbon rub brisket burgers, and Kona bacon to name a few. While you’re at the meat counter, look down into the deli case and grab that potato salad and the two salsas (red and green). Best salsa around! This place is the poster child for not judging a book...

Fill your gas tank, make a fresh cup of coffee on one of the available K cup machines, grab a shopping cart and peruse this well stocked small town grocery store.. I've never been let down here, reasonable prices, great meat selection (butcher on site) and did I mention all the homemade cakes, turnovers, pies etc etc. Head on down and grab a whoopie pie and. Seriously some of THE BEST home made food comes from this wonderful little country store. Ella’s burritos on Friday are SPECTACULAR. HOT and FRESH food from the kitchen is ALWAYS so good! Don’t get me wrong I love Andy’s but make a trip around the corner and you won’t be disappointed! They also have fresh meat packages and dry aged meats. They have such a wide variety of meats. I almost forgot, the home made snacks and deserts. Their cookies, cakes, and whoopie pies...
