I own and operate a furniture repair business. I was in the area and needed some supplies so I stopped by Eichler Lumber. Eichler lumbar has a has a furniture store connected to it so I figured I’d drop in to drop off a card, and see if the company had someone to represent them when it came to furniture warranty’s. Randy was not pleasant at all, very, very rude. Customer service is always on the top of my mind when it comes to my business, and having him at the front desk, represents them in the wrong way possible. Purchasing furniture should be an exciting, and easy experience. For many, it’s a huge step in life. If Randy was my salesperson, they would never get my business.
Excluding Randy.. the furniture area was well set up, and looked like they had a good variety of furniture to choose from.
I did step into the lumbar area to get some supplies, and Mandy at the front deck helped out and pointed me into the right direction. Very nice and helpful. Also informed me that Randy had a stoke 5 plus years ago, and lacks communication skills. My father had a stoke 2 years ago, so I am more than understanding, but this is also no way to treat people.
for brandy helping me out, and being more than kind, for the restrooms to be in excellent shape, and for having what I needed… is the reason I’m not giving them a 1 star.
To the owner, I understand Randy is Going through things in life… life is challenging in all aspects. With being a business owner myself, I wouldn’t want to be represented in the light that Randy is giving off. . As being the son of someone who has had a stroke, I also understand strokes survivors, want to fill involved and be useful. I recommend putting him in an area where he has little to know interaction with customers.. there is little to no furniture company’s in this area, so this is a huge area that you could...
Read moreI wish it I could give it "no stars". HORRIBLE Customer Service by the gentlemen, we believe he was the owner. Lady sales person was very nice & trying to help us, but the man literally kicked us out & told us "you have to leave right now" because the power went out. Didn't offer to take our name & call us back, didn't even ask us to leave nicely - was a complete jerk about it. We were about to purchase a $500 chair & he told us we just had to leave. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. And very disappointing considering we have primarily furnished our lake cabin with furniture from there. We will NOT be back to the furniture or lumber store based on our experience. To the owner, if you read this - - we ended up spending our money at Missouri Furniture, Inc. in Sedalia & will continue to do so in the future. Their customer service was AMAZING. We own & operate 2 customer service based businesses and I would be ASHAMED of my staff & terminations would occur if they treated people the way that...
Read moreConsidering the rural nature of this area, this furniture store is exceptional, with a pretty decent selection of quality items. The selection is nothing like the furniture "superstores" I'm used to in Chicago, but the personal service is far better than those. They owners also have a vested interest in taking great care of their customers, because of the small town nature of the area - one bad experience and EVERYONE will know about it. Visited here with my girlfriend and her father to purchase a new recliner for him. She says the mattress they sold her father is amazingly...
