High Rock — Local services in Washington Township

My wife and I hiked the raven rock/high rock trail. Great trail along the Appalachian.

the view at High rock is worth the stop. It's beautiful and you can see for miles. Multiple states.

The graffiti is controversial. Some people like it, and some don't. There is quite a bit of it, and it certainly is unique. I would have enjoyed the hike and view without the graffiti, but I also thought some of it was interesting. Don't see that type of graffiti on hikes often.

It's popular and does get crowded, but there is plenty of room up there.

The view at High Rock is both beautiful and breathtaking. Visiting early in the morning during the week, as my wife and I did, ensures a peaceful experience. It is an excellent location for meditation. If you haven't visited yet, I highly recommend it. The site is easy to locate using Google Maps. At one time This was the most and i am not kidding the most beautiful place. However insert LOTS of foul language in disgust over the graffiti. It just breaks my heart that this place has just become a place to scribble paint. If you could of only seen it before. Countless people at one time Have tried to get it cleaned with fail for insert BAD WORD have just come and undid it. It’s so bad people are painting the trees. The photos that look good...
