We adopted a 7yo dachshund from this shelter a few months ago and it was the best choice of our lives! After reading his story about losing his owner we felt such a strong need to give him the best life possible as we recently lost our 19yo dachshund and we felt the same pain as him. Together we lifted each others spirits and couldn't be happier. He is a good boy and we love him so much! (We take him everywhere so you can maybe catch him strolling thru a park or store in MI) !

This Wednesday 12-22 was my very first time there..The ladies there are awesome..Thank you so much for your help with food for my two dogs and my two cats . It's been near impossible since my husband's semi accident.. We have went without food , water, toilet paper, etc..But, my poor dogs went two and half days without food and that hurt more than anything else.. Thank you again so much ladies.. I became attached to a cat named pepper after my cat had ran away. i visted everyday (cause we live 2 houses away from it)to see him so my grandmother decided to adopt the kitten so my grandmother filled out some papers so nobody could adopt him but us. 2 days later my grandmother grabs 200 dollars and we go down there.. what did they say? "He's already been adopted" which happens everytime we decide to adopt a pet from down there. I am truly dissapointed with this...
