I love Bloom Soil! I run a local public native plant garden, and had been looking to create an eye-catching entrance garden bed for a few years now. When the opportunity arose to get a truckload of soil through Bloom, I knew just what to do; create a large no-dig garden bed by laying down cardboard and piling 6+ inches of compost on top, complete with a step stone pathway and informational signage to educate visitors about what we were doing. I am beyond thrilled with the results. After several hours and a crew of my dedicated volunteers, we had the entrance makeover I had envisioned for the garden, but better. I have included a handful of pics showcasing the before + after results. We have already gotten so many compliments, and the array of native seeds we scattered haven't even all begun to sprout yet! I am so astounded by the quality of customer service and friendly interactions I have had with Bloom. I will recommend Bloom to anyone looking for quality soil/compost for any and all garden projects. Thanks again, and I can't wait to order more in the future (I have two other no-dig beds in mind since this one turned out so well!)

Awesome experience. I had a million questions and April answered them all. This was my third attempt to grow grass in my very shady back yard with bad soil. I needed to plant special dense shade grass seed in very poor soil and April advised me to use their blend of bloom soil, sand, and saw dust. i purchased 5 cubic yards at an amazing price. i was worried it would smell horrible but it didn't have the strong ammonia smell other products have. The truck driver was really nice and patient, it took him awhile to wiggle up my driveway. The soil was easy to spread and not clumpy. i laid down seed first, then spread about 1/8-1/4 of an inch of soil across my whole yard, then i spread another layer of seed and then raked everything to mix it all up. i then watered for 30 minutes twice a day (this was in late September) . the grass is as think as carpet and very deep green. it's incredible! Give April a call!

Highly recommend, it’s Bloom-tastic! I used the Bloom Sandy Blend this year for my lawn overseeding project and flower bed. From delivery to laying it down on the ground, everything went perfect. I especially appreciate the awesome customer service from Cooper. He made ordering a breeze and performed multiple follow-ups to ensure everything went smooth. Will definitely use it next year too.

Gotta say, Bloom has been wonderful to work with - both the product and the people.

The product itself has allowed us to turn a struggling yard and garden into a gorgeous oasis in the city full of plants for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife in addition to growing produce for my household. Product is super high quality - my edible garden produces so much more when using Bloom! Beautiful results, plants love it.

The customer service at Bloom is also excellent. April helps guide you through the process even offering tips and suggestions. No hassle ordering and the cheapest option out of any compost/fertilizer options I've seen in DC....
