I wanted to donate some furniture to a good cause and contacted Kim who was very pleasant and helpful in approving our items for drop off. However, once at the store the experience got ugly. I walked in to speak to Kim but only saw a male staff member. He immediately had an attitude with me, then was extremely rude and upset because the elderly driver assisting me was still parked and seated in the truck due to the pouring rain. I asked what he needed us to do and he told us it wasn’t his job to unload. I was fine with that and asked if he was going to open the bay door so we could put the items in, and out of the rain, but he snapped that the door was broken. We started to unload and the guy was just keep up with his hostile tone and attitude towards us. I finally told him that he was a pleasure to work with, that caused him to lose his temper and he started yelling at us that he didn’t have to put up with attitude. He was the one with a bad attitude! He then refused to take our donations even though they had been approved by Kim. Unfortunately this guy gives his organization a bad name, and items that could have been used by the needy went to another organization. Could someone please donate this guy a better disposition and a personality more suited to dealing...

When one of the volunteers grabbed it out of her hand and said " you can't have this, I need it to fix the one I just broke!! Laughing!! I thought it was extremely RUDE! When I told the so called manager,(who never said he was a manager but THE ONLY PAID EMPLOYEE THERE!)he said she has been with them for 10 years withought incident and he didn't believe that she was wrong in doing what she did! That they always use other items to fix things to sell! That wasn't my point!! She grabbed it out of her hand! So I will not spend my money there again. And yes I did purchase a few items from them the day before as well as today. Just under $300...
Read moreThis place is what you would expect; it's a few hidden treasures, singe emergency repair items, and a few odds and ends. They get five stars because the store is clean, organized as much as a donation style warehouse can be, and also because of the employees. While I was there, a client ahead of me had some issues with a purchase and wanted to return the item. All sales are final so that wasn't possible. The employee handled it with grace and professionalism. Also, the employees are very friendly and easy to work with, which is a huge help. If I'm shopping at a place like this then I'm already undertaking a huge talk. Being able to work with amenable people is more valuable than some people realize. I'll be back for a couple more...
