We did the short 1.4-mile hike with over 500 feet of elevation gain. The switchbacks offer the most stunning views — they truly steal the show. The rock formations along the way are beautiful, and the trail is thoughtfully built. Grateful to those who made this hike possible. The railings feel sturdy and well-maintained, and there’s parking available near the trailhead. The top has a different, more distant view — still lovely.

Such an amazing little hike. $10 to park/hike. We went for the sunrise, didnt realize the trail is 'closed til 8am' until we came back down- whoops. The views are incredible, the hike was actually very easygoing despite the elevation change. There is also a climbing area if you have the gear. Looks like some mixed, some sport bit we didnt check the beta. Have fun!

We tried to hike up Beacon Rock today and the trail was closed after we paid $35 for an annual State of Washington Discover Pass. The sign said it has been closed since November due to downed trees. It would be nice if the state could use some of its Discover Pass funds and get this trail...
