Washougal School District — Local services in Washougal

I needed to send a letter to them asking if they could educate about things '' kids should know '' in seventh to eighth grade and they have not yet written me back but I hope that other people think the same and let kids get educated about H.I.V and A.I.D.S during seventh and eighth grade because getting educated in 5th grade about not having sex with people that have H . I . V or A.I.D.s number one they probably won't have sex in 5th, 6th ,7th , or 8th. Number two they probably aren't mature enough to handle the video and some of the questions some kids might take it as a funny thing and ask the questions that are vial and inappropriate. I have personally had the experience and some of the kids in that class asked very vial and inappropriate questions and absolutley not questions a 5th grade girl should ask. Nontheless also some of the people in the class also were talking about it at recess where the little kids were playing I hope very much that the little kids didn't hear it. That was an example of why they should have the classes close to 8th or 7th grade or maybe even highschool that video is NOT 5th grade material. I am hoping the Washougal school district could join unions and change the law of having those awful videos...
