Don’t throw away that TV! A few days ago my two year old 55” TV stopped displaying video. While TVs aren’t as expensive as they used to be, I was still looking at $300+ for a comparable replacement and I just couldn’t bare the thought of throwing away a TV that was less than two years old. I decided to look into repairing it and after a quick Google search, called Del’s. The gentleman on the phone knew exactly what was wrong with my TV and quoted me a very reasonable price (much cheaper than a new TV) right then and there. I was able to bring it in that day and pick it up a couple of days later as good as new. Walking into the shop, you can tell this is a guy that has been doing this a long time and he knows his stuff. Overall a great transaction that saved me some money and my TV from the landfill all while supporting a small local business. I followed by asking what are the diagnostic fees to bring the TV in. Without a model number I couldn’t get an answer. I was instructed to call back when I knew the model number not just brand of TV. Explaining to the customer why this information is so important to the pricing would be the proper customer service a customer would be looking for.
