I hate doing this but Waterbury Phones on N Main St and Farm , DO NOT TRUST THEM. THIS IS GOING TO BE LONG BUT THE OWNER DID SOME SLICK STUFF THAT COST ME OVER 500$ plus now I'm stuck in a new contract with my phone carrier because I had to get a whole new phone!

Went on Friday for a screen repair. I had gotten a quote from a guy in the mall, but was closer to this place. Went in, he said it would take 5 minutes, which is crazy fast. Said it would be 100. Said the other places uses cheap parts and he was going to use an actual Samsung screen. He asked what had happened to the phone. I explained it was simply dropped, had no screen protector, and the screen cracked. First time it was dropped. Screen was still working and I used the phone at work, cutting up my fingers but ALL IT NEEDED was a screen! He takes my broken Phone,comes back and says " it's all done"

I try to use my phone and it's NOT working. I tap the screen and it goes black. I say "no this isn't right...." he tells me " Oh , give it a few seconds , you keep tap tap tapping" He asked me if my phone was working slow, which I responded KIND OF, the screen wae broke but i used it all day at work. . The phone turns off. I said sir, My battery was at seventy five percent when I brought the phone in here... why is the battery now dead? He explains he took my motherboard Out of my phone and put it into another device. I immediately asked for him to just give my phone back. He says let me just put your battery in this phone. He does that and the screen still is not working correctly. I called my friend and he said that the guy was trying to Switch my unlocked device into another carriers locked device and he was ripping me off. I immediately asked for my phone back, the exact thing I gave him. He handed me WHAT I THOUGHT Was my phone and I realized.The back was different, the bottom was different, whatever ue gave me had a sim card slot (like a prepaid phone) and didn't have the att logo sticker on it. I turned around and walked right back in. He threw several different backings and told me here.Take whatever one you want but he didnt have my actual phone, only the screen. . I said sir.I want exactly what I just gave you. He was extremely hostile. I left because I did not want any more problems.

I go right to at and t. They tell me it is Not even an at and t phone that I have now. It's one of those 39.00 phones from Walmart. So i walk to the repair shop in the mall, sit at the counter and they open and replace the screen in front of me, plug in the phone and now it's giving a red exclamation triangle. It won't even charge. They also tell me "ma'am this isn't even the same kind of phone that goes with this mother board. The guy must have broken something inside because now when I try to plug it it, it's giving me an overheating warning.

The guy at WATERBURY PHONES BROKE SOMETHING inside my original phone and instead of being honest and telling me, he tried making it seem like I had downloaded malware. I lost everything. I ended up having to get a brand new phone, after paying the balance due on the phone he destroyed. It was a simple cracked screen!

WaterburyPhones,You are horrible for doing this to me and a very dishonest business! As a fellow business owner, ID NEVER do this to someone! You coat me hundreds of dollars! And I hope this review cost you 10 times what you cost me!

I had nothing but problems with this place . The first time I’ve ever been here I went to repair my screen since it was cracked . Right after fixing it and on my way home the screen wasn’t working and I had to bring it back the next day to get it serviced again . My phone was stolen couple months back and had to get a phone immediately so I came back to buy a phone this time . The first phone he gave me was broken. Had battery problems . Wouldn’t charge . So I went back so he can fix it . He wasn’t able to fix it so he gave me a replacement phone . The second phone the REPLACEMENT was having the same issues and I’m not sure if it’s just iphone issues specifically with the generation I got which was the 11 max . The phones were causing me problem. So he gave me a 3rd replacement phone this time it was working fine for a couple weeks and then it started shutting off turning back on by itself . It was having issues a little but not to serious so I kind of dealt with it . It would charge and then the battery would drain as it was charging . So all phones came with battery issues . So I had to go back because ultimately it came to a point that it wasn’t charging at all. And kept shutting off and turning back on but battery wouldn’t reach past 1% . When I went back my last time he accused me of breaking all his phones after I showed him proof and also followed up with him with all the issues I’ve had so I have all the conversations. He also accused me of taking my phone somewhere else to be serviced which I never did however he told me I was a liar because he didn’t recognize the battery that came with the phone he gave me . It wouldn’t make any sense to have my phone repaired anywhere else if he told me when I purchased the first phone he told me it was a warranty so it wouldn’t make sense for me to have gone anywhere else for the issue I told him about . He was rude and disrespectful so I will never be back to this place . I literally was there today. He ruined my iPhone after servicing it today now I’m unable to play videos or hear any sound on my phone. All the phones have issues and if you haven’t experienced any issues with any of his phones consider yourself lucky . I will...

WARNING DO Not go there, I went to fix my Moto g and my daugther iPad & iphone 7 paid them and they told me they will fix it, went back again and told me they could not fix it, when I came back to pick it up they told my phones iPads can not be fixed and the owner gave me the worst attitude ever.
