I moved here in October pretty high on prices but only store to shop at.I lost my husband of 45yrs last year I had to move up this way from Fresno in order to have a roof over my head I had to let my car go back so I walk to the store. I was scammed about a week ago so bank shut my debit card down right in middle of Holiday knowing my bank in Merced it takes 5to7 business days to be mailed, thank God I had my check book I use to pay rent. Iv got my money in bank I wrote 2 checks in one day as I for got some things wrote one for $45 dollars over so I could have cash on hand then next day I still had to write a check so I did for $20 over again and the most rudest cashier told I couldn't write I have wrote a lot of checks really 3 dam checks I was so embarrassed I looked at her explaining why I was writing checks knowing dam well I just got my check social security deposit into my account she shamed me in front other customer in the store. First time I came here. Friendly people. However not sure if it was here or not. But someone got a hold on my card numbers. Be aware of who you stand next to. Someone I think while I had my card out. Memorized my card numbers. Luckily does not know my pin card number. They tried using my card numbers to make a purchase online or something but they don't know my card pin. Be aware of who you stand next to. Never know if that person is staring at your card. Luckily I locked it. All they can do is give my money. They cannot take out money or purchase anything. Although the customer service is good and friendly , they have big signs on the door ( no mask no entry) but they do not inforce. They pay security to just watch to see if someone steals a grape. The customers that don't wear a mask heckle at the customers that do. This is the only grocery store unless we drive out of town. So I asked " if I walked in with no shoes or shirt you can't enforce that policy either " ❓ 🤔 With the numbers of deaths on a rise and I have a mother , grandchild, brother and myself at high risk , you would think the owner would care more for his customers....
