Shameful & heart breaking. WAS one of the best mountain archery ranges, but now the park mgmt has neglected this once great treasure. The target frames& backing are rotted. The actual targets are incorrect(wrong sizes &wrong configurations). The ground markers that indicate where to stand & yardage distance are removed or not secured in place. The trails to ea target are overgrown & downed trees blocking. This range began & was developed for 50 yrs & was always well maintained. Read moreMy wife and I have been to this range several times and we love it! The majority of the range winds through thick groves of tall, beautiful trees and provides a great, scenic hike. The bug shoot, put on in July, is one of our all-time favorite shoots and is tons of fun. Also, there is an excellent county campround right near the range that has water and electric hook-ups, as well as a dump station near the exit for those who plan to spend a night or more for the shoot...

Just came back from the range - half of the targets are closed down, all remaining targets are rotten, (my arrows went right through them, lost one and damaged a few of them), branches were blocking the target path, the bow holder pins can damage your bow limbs and the targets are in horrible condition.
