Fareway Meat and Grocery — Local services in Waukon

I will no longer go to Fareway in Waukon Ia. They lost me as a customer for good! I don’t know how many times I have made the 20 mile trip to get an item that was on their weekly flyer just to find out they are out of that item ( 10 lb tubes of 80/20 ground beef @ $1.79 lb) the ad said smaller quantities, $1.99 lb, but in the meat case, 80/20 grnd beef $3.99 lb. That also was all gone! What’s the problem? Is it a big surprise to them that perhaps they should have bulked up with an item that they have on special? I hate it when stores do that! They also had an ad item, buy a pizza for & $4.99 & get an 18 pack of beer for $9.99. Guess what, no beer & nothing as a substitute. Not happy again. Enough is enough! There’s other places to go...

Really really expensive even the sales were twice the price of anywhere in Lacrosse and some creepy guy followed me out to the car trying to put my groceries in the car even after I asked him not to he stood and watched me it was scary so really expensive and scary creepy guy follows...
