Shelton's Grocery — Local services in Waurika

Nice small town store, I was in twice while passing through the area, on my second visit it took me a while to understand what was happening at the register a cashier and who I thought might be getting trained was probably looking for a Tip if I let her take our cart to the vehicle, she didn't seem to want to let go of the Cart at first as if I knew I somehow agreed to it? I wouldn't mind if I carried cash and knew what she was doing? She never asked permission. I haven't seen anyone do this since I was a child in the 70s , I get it times are tough right now but you need to ask if they can bag and bring out your groceries for a Tip, outsiders are not going to know...

Honestly I was really shocked and amazed by this place. I wasn't expecting much going in, but the service and selection were far beyond my expectations. All the employees clearly loved their jobs and were very happy and friendly. They even take your groceries to your car old school style. Today I had to fill my camper full of groceries! The workers here are amazing you don't have to look for a worker if you need help finding something! and with a smile they do their jobs! I will definitely be shopping here instead of driving to Duncan to walmart for what I need there prices are reasonable and here in waurika everyone is so pleasant to be around I am so glad we get to visit...
