I was prescribed an auto cpap. Never having need of a DME before and not a fan of pro mediocre who bought out the private local DME in Adrian, I told the Doctor’s office to send the script to Tri-State as they were directly across the street from the sleep center at Fulton County Health. What a huge mistake! I had to call them to follow up as script just sat there for a week. Then the wait for a machine to be ordered ( no consultation as to machine they just order one in they decide will fit the script AND give them the best profit I’m sure after verifying insurance coverage. Finally I took delivery of a Phillips Dreamstation Auto one of the top two recommended machines currently per several published reviews. However it was barely functional as delivered. I had to call to get my ahi report turned on and to get the blue tooth turned on as the RRT “didn’t want to burden me with an app and too much information”. She even implied, as did the manager AND the after hours phone guy that it was illegal for patients to access any of the clinical data - I had to go through their RRT and my doctor. Luckily my doctor, the Phillips website and apneaboard.com set me straight on my rights. They also did NOT detail the financial aspects of their supply as “we checked and your insurance will just cover everything”. The FTC makes funeral homes give detailed breakdown of cost perhaps the Ohio Atty General will Tri- State also. In any event be informed and go anywhere else even...
Read moreI'm not sure about some of these reviews. Tri State has been awesome to me. I've been with this company since 2013 and won't go anywhere else. I always get a receipt for my orders. I'm on oxygen 24/7. They even come out to my car to switch my tanks out. Saving me the trip and getting myself all out of breath. The team is always on top of things and are more than willing to help answer questions and explain anything you need to know. I've never had an issue with my insurance or being harassed for a bill. But I do pay mine when they come in. This is a solid company with solid workers. In 2013 when I was diagnosed, the beat me home from the hospital....

Staff seems nice but only talked over the phone. So far their service seems good. If anything changes I'll put up update review. ........ Update. I looked up the model of this CPAP machine tri-state was setting me up with. First of all it's known to be loud from what little reviews I could find on it. Second it's 1600.00 through tri-state. I called another medical supply company and a name brand machine costs 1400.00. So I don't feel comfortable buying this Chinese CPAP not knowing...
