Special Grounds Coffee — Restaurant in Wauseon

Today was my first opportunity to try Special Grounds coffee. I walked in and was greeted by two amazing barista‘s! I loved seeing some familiar faces. I also loved walking into a building, that as a church, was near and dear to my heart. The fact that this building is now being completely re-purposed and for such an amazing cause, is so exciting. My sister and I had a lunch while working on a workbook together here. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We sat in the back and the lighting was not too dim but not bright at all. There were others sipping their drinks and eating without interrupting us. It was a great balance of light and noise. Visited for the first time today. Nice, clean and bright atmosphere with an additional seating area that’s quieter, with more muted lighting. I had a cappuccino, a sausage breakfast sandwich (best sausage ever!) and an exquisite cranberry shortbread tart. I also had a taste of their massive peanut butter cookie. All were delicious!
