Village Square Shopping Center — Local services in Waverly

I was hungry and got something to go at the gym-bee deli. It’s nothing to brag but isn’t bad. The worker are very slow. Especially seems like during the morning hours one time we waited an hour and a half to get our breakfast. Needless to say we haven’t been back for breakfast since. They really were lacking motivation tonight the workers did not greet anybody that had come up to the counter while I was there. I understand it the weekday and mostly younger people working. But once again you’ve got to train in order to have good customer service or nobody’s going to want to go there. The noodles were either over cooked or warmed up to many times or they’d soaked up a lot of moisture. The salads were good! The rest of my shopping was all right. Just another...

Great Clips is the new kid on the block, and they offer good haircuts at a good price and offer online check-in. There's a Chinese buffet, as well as a mattress store. The Centre is available for meetings and events. HyVee is located on the southernmost end of the shopping center and has a deli, Chinese Express, bakery, pharmacy, wine and spirits, and Caribou Coffee. HyVee also carries the best meats in Waverly. There's a few stores clustered together. The Hy-Vee is a main one with True value at the other end. Right next to Hy-Vee is a new Neighborhood closet clothing store which has amazing deals I might add so check that out. There's a nail salon and I think a Chinese restaurant as well.
