We really enjoyed our family's road trip to Wakefield's beautiful sceneries and serenity of the countryside and visit to the historical Wakefield's Peanut Company marketplace, for wholesome peanuts, homemade jams, and jelly's, that's tasty for the pallet. 😋

I did not go inside but my significant other did. I was gifted some of the gourmet peanuts a few years ago & they are my favorite in the area so he picks them up for me when he is nearby or for a special surprise. This last canister, although still wonderfully crunchy is a tad salty. I find myself rubbing some off before eating them. I usually purchase unsalted or dry roasted peanuts because that seems to be the only time the level of salt is balanced for me. That was until I discovered these, so this batch was slightly disappointing. I haven't given up on them yet, you can't beat that crunch & I'm sure their other varieties are...

I bought a bag of peanuts for wild animals on line with the Wakefield label. The peanuts arrived but when I opened the box, they had shells. I thought I ordered peanuts without shells. We live about 50 miles away so we decided a road trip was in order. I had hoped to make an exchange however the very nice and understanding sales person explained I purchased the peanuts from a third party seller on Amazon. I made the error but this very nice salesperson gave me a five pound bag of raw peanuts without shells! That’s GREAT...
