Outlaw Repair & Recovery — Local services in Wayne Township

My husband and I are truck drivers and stopped in Mitchell, SD at the I 90 Travel Center to eat and swap out. We were only stopped for an hour and that is all it took for our right rear tractor brake to freeze up in 3 degree weather. We called our recover department and they called Outlaw Repair and Recovery from Alexandria, SD. They were there within a half hour. They sent 2 trucks and at least 3 men to take care of us. With them and their help of a fellow driver we finally had all of our brakes (right side trailer brakes had also frozen in that time frame, even when the brakes weren't set, it was that snowy and cold) released within a few hours. These guys worked together and weren't leaving until they had us freed. They worked tirelessly in frigid temperatures. They were professional, knowledgeable and came prepared with the right tools. We got a flat going from Mitchell to Sioux Falls, and after we got lost trying to navigate to their shop, they came and found us! [My GPS took us on a wrong turn.]

After we got there, the service was professional and kind. They have a way of doing business that alleviates anxiety, for sure.

The most important part was they made sure we were informed on everything we needed to know, and felt safe to drive home after they replaced the tire.

Traveling to Rushmore and had a belt break on a Saturday afternoon! Called Lowell at Outlaws and he came over quickly and inspected my problem. Found the belt broke and also my fan blade had chips and on blade was broke! After discussing the situation Lowell replaced the belt (9pm on Saturday)and went on to Rushmore. On the way back we stopped in Michell KOA and Lowell had a fan made for my rig and replaced it on site! Not only did Lowell save our vacation he fixed it without removing the radiator which anywhere else would have done! Fair price and outstanding customer service.
