Unclaimed Freight Furniture Clearance Center — Local services in Wayne Township

Don't bother buying from Unclaimed Freight or the Clearance Center. Their furniture is over priced junk! I bought a couch with reclining ends and in less than 6 months the backs had broke with normal use. The wood literally broke in half on both backs by just recling back in it. I made the mistake of buying an electric chair and loveseat from the Clearance Center a month after the couch broke. It has not even been 2 months and the recliner won't work. Their furniture is JUNK!

On 1/29/23- I decided to give them another chance since they agreed to fix the recliner. I went in to buy a dining room set and found what I wanted for the most part. I asked the salesman if it came already assembled and I was told I would only have to put the legs on the table. I verified again with him that I would not have to assemble any of the chairs and I was told I would not have to. Fast forward to the next Friday when we went to pick it up from the warehouse and it all came in a large box and EVERYTHING needed to be assembled. I called the salesman and was given the well you can return it version of too bad you bought it and I get my commission story. The box was so heavy we barely got it into the house so there is no way we could load it back up to return it. Guess how we spent half our Sunday? You guessed it ...we were putting together a dining room set. Never believe any of these salesman at this store. Oh and the manager gave us incorrect information about their financing as well. This place is just a joke. I would not have purchased this dining room set had I known we would have to...

I absolutely love Unclaimed Freight Clearance Center because of Paul! We will not go anywhere else to buy our furniture because of him! He is the nicest person! So polite, professional and he truly cares about his customers. He went above and beyond for us! My husband and I were looking to buy a new couch and a recliner chair. We wrote down measurements on a couch we loved that he had on the floor and went home and measured. Unfortunately the couch was too large for our living space so we gave Paul the measurements of what would work for our space and colors we would be interested in and asked if he would call us if he got anything in that would work within our measurement range. Paul called me and told me about a couch that came in that he had wanted us to see! There was no pressure at all as he told us he wants us happy but wanted to let us know what had just come in! He worked with our schedule to be available when we came in and he just went above and beyond. We ended up purchasing the couch and recliner from him! It’s so refreshing to know there is still customer service and excellent care when making a big purchase. Paul is truly the best salesperson! I wish there were more people like him that truly care about the customer! We so appreciated Paul and his kindness and patience with us! I moved to Sioux Falls about 20 years ago and have purchased several items from unclaimed furniture and have been satisfied with all of my purchases until now! Three years ago this month I purchased a recliner along with a insurance policy, Incase something happened to the fake leather on the chair.

In October or November I noticed the headrest was pealing, so I called unclaimed and was told to contact the insurance so I did and found out it was only covered if it was a puncher. So I contacted Unclaimed Freight again and had a repairman come out to look at it in December. He said they would order a new headrest and he would let me know how much it would be. After a month and a half I called back again and found out that nothing had been done! The girl said she would order it! After a couple weeks I called back again, this time I was told the material had been discontinued, but they might still have some on hand at the manufacture. So I waited another couple of weeks, now I’m told they, the manufacturer or Unclaimed Freight would not be able to do anything being the chair was 3 years old! I would think that a chair should hold up longer than 3 years!
