Uncle Joe's Market — Local services in Wayne

Uncle Joe's will always have a 5 Star review from me because they are loyal to their customers and are always open for them. It doesn't matter what holiday, rain, sleet, snow blizzard, blackout, they are open. Our family saying is Uncle Joe's will miss their own wedding to be there for his customers. Uncle Joe's is the only store that I can count on to have my Alaga Syrup. Unfortunately, I have to fly there from Arizona to get it now. That's correct it's not sold in Arizona. I especially want to thank Uncle Joe's for having the nicest staff that always are friendly.

There is only one suggestion that I have to impose, please ask Ms. Barbara to stay away from the phones. Today January 21, 2023, I called for the first time ever at 4:15 pm to ask a question. She politely asked me to hold, but when she returned she asked me to hurry up with what I wanted because she was busy trying to do 2 different things. I truly understand busy, but you should never say that to a customer, especially when you've placed them on hold and they've not had a chance to say anything. I did apologize for calling her a Sir, when she said she's a maim. But she should stay away...

I love Uncle Joe's meat prices ! Big family packs of fresh, meaty meats, also frozen meats/seafood. It's a small store so the groceries are there, but brand choices are slim. It's a Spartan store, so they have good prices on store brands. They have produce as well. Tons of seasonings, both bulk and small containers. They have a small but we'll stocked deli with lunchmeat, prepared pasta salads, and subs. They sell alcohol for a decent price. The guys doing stock are always friendly.

One last thing, the cashiers are ALWAYS grouchy. I swear, I only go there for the meat prices, but I would shop there more than 2 times a month if the cashiers were friendly. They eat at the register, read magazines, make no small talk,...

From Ohio and have been staying in Romulus for about 8 months and i forget about this store being right up the road, until I need milk or something. I'm one that would much rather shop smaller local stores anytime over the bigger chain stores anyhow. Been in there twice now and will definitely be back. Store has a great selection of just about everything, with good prices as well. Meat selection and prices are awesome. You can find stuff here that you can't in some of the bigger stores, which is nice. Quick in and out unlike bigger stores. Plenty of parking spots. Cashier's have been friendly both times I was there. Store is well stocked and clean. Overall great little market that I would definitely recommend to anyone...
