I actually enjoy going to Little River. Its free and is something to do on the weekends. However, and it is a big however, visitors should read the sign and stop bringing their pets. When someone brings their Enormous dog, it can be a huge risk for other people and their children. I’ve seen several instances where people decide to let their animals off of a leash, not thinking about the repercussions they could face if their animal was to attack a small child. Also, where do these animals use the bathroom? I have seen it several times where the pet decides to defecate where people walk. I am a pet owner myself and wish that I could but I do not bring my dogs to the springs because of those reasons. Aside from that Little River Springs can be a fun place to go. Snorkeling and swimming there on a hot summer day can be...

It’s deeper at the spring head itself but nice along the edges. The only con I experience was that the place was trashed from the day before. Watermelon rinds and whole open watermelons everywhere, trash everywhere. Thankfully there wasn’t trash in the spring itself. It’s free to enter with a very small parking lot. This place is in the middle of nowhere. But also close to other springs so you could easily go to two springs in...

It's got a cool cave area to snorkel with fish and I've seen those little stingrays and flounders in the little channels. I've been coming here since my son was a newborn and he loves it. Great view of the river. I will say make sure you always watch your children and if you're not a great swimmer stay where you can put your feet down. A teenager drowned there last year because of the river current. It's not super strong but strong enough if you're not a...
