Save A Lot — Local services in Welch

It's a save-a-lot. They have much of the same stuff that other save-a-lots have. Doesn't really carry local fare AT ALL carries only national brands or save-a -lot products. A lot of other save-a-lots I have been in carry some local and in state products. Fresh fruit and vegetable selection is very bad. Floors, cash registers area( belt, scanner, shelves) butchers area looks good and clean. The store shelves are always stocked and fronted properly. The bathroom is horrible No one has cleaned the front of that toilet bowl EVER. Thankfully the butcher has his own area to wash his hands. No beer but for the smokers out there they do have them and from what I understand at pretty good prices. Parking is ample lots of carts. It's an okay place to go grocery shopping when it's the only place that has reasonable prices. Honestly I don't like a lot of clutter it kind of stresses me out. The store has everything you need however things are piled up everywhere and stocked items are generally in the middle of the Isles with sometimes people working on the items and sometimes not. Use to be a very cheap store, now it is higher than the only other grocery store here, when you buy vegetables, such as tomatoes, they turn them top down and usually they have bad spots in them, you have to watch about fruit grown in Mexico, the fruit gave me upset stomach last year, so do not buy watermelon or cantaloupe from this store if it says product of mexico... warning, you will stay on...
