Dollar General — Local services in Wellford

So confused of what’s actually going on with this store, you can barley walk down over half the aisle because they obviously haven’t unpacked the inventory off the trucks. It says they’re open 8am-10pm 7 days a week which is untrue. Over the past week or so I’ve been to the store MULTIPLE times(live within walking distance) & everytime I’ve went but ONCE there has been a sign on the door made out of copy paper & sharpie that states they’re closed! Just left from there & to no surprise they’re closed again (Saturday the 24th @ 9:50am). Went there 2 nights last week, back to back, I think it was Tuesday & Wednesday or Wednesday & Thursday but once again, ANOTHER SIGN. It was 9:33 keep in mind they’re supposed to be open until 10 I had to go up there to get nursery water for my infant, ended up having to drive 15 minutes to the closest store because the past 2 nights they just so happen to have closed at 9:30. What is the point in dollar general paying to vacate that building if they can’t even pay employees to show up? Why not just sell all the inventory that you can’t seem to put away & just let a bigger company...

If I could give this store a negative 10 I would. I just moved to Wellford and had people from out of town coming to visit. I ran into this store to try and get a fan for my visitors. I was in a hurry, looking up and down the aisles. So here is where the problems began. 1) literally not one employee was out from behiind the counter to ask where they were 2) the store was one of the dirtiest, unorganized and bare dollar general stores I have ever seen. There were items laying in the isles, shelves either bare or so jumbled up you would have to sit and literally dig for what you needed. But it even gets better. So as I trying to find this fan so I can make it to my appointment I hear something about a shoplifters to watch on the loudspeaker. I just keep doing what I am doing and go through the line to ask an employee about a fan, she says no they don't have them. So I leave as I am getting in the car an employee comes up looking all in my car. I don't know what they were doing but just the presumption and the state of the store has ensured I will not step foot in that...

NASTY STAFF! I will never shop at this store again! An elderly gentleman hobbled in and asked to use the restroom, to which what appeared to be a male manager asked, "are you going to buy anything today?" The old man replied, "no sir not today." The rude employee said "it's for paying customers only!" The poor man just left, so we left too! My Mom said to the employee that was the rudest thing she had witnessed in a while and the "employee" just looked at us, but did not respond..... I am quite sure that elderly gentleman had purchased something from Dollar General before! Additionally, I was with a friend a couple of weeks ago and we stopped in the exact store and used the restroom and didn't purchase a single item. I guess it's just who you are, huh?! Mistreating the elderly is the lowest form of SCUM! One day, that a...hole may get old. Wonder how he'll feel in that circumstance.
