First and foremost I am so late in this review. I made a promise to Patrick (the incredible owner) that I would write a review after all he has done for me and my cart. This may be a bit lengthy but well worth the read. So I have an EZGO cart that is "vintage" let's just say. Well I took it to the beach with us on vacation! BAD IDEA! On return I called Tampa Bay Golf Carts (useless) to have it repaired! Again BAD CHOICE! While I had it on the trailer, I was like WTH I'm gonna try one more place. So I called Velocity. Patrick (incredible) took a chance on it, but NEVER promised me anything. At that point I was willing to take that chance. Well, after some patience (on his part) I told him to take all the time he needed to fix it. It was a "family remodel" so I was willing to wait. After about a month (no fault of Patrick's) low and behold, he called and said my cart was fixed. I about cried. After going to GCTB I gave up hope. And along comes Patrick. My life saver! My family was so happy to have it back. With the patience of Patrick and his crew, I now have a cart that runs like a champ. We spent quite some time looking for a golf cart, primarily online, since there aren't many local stores with showrooms for test drives, which was crucial for us as first-time buyers. The delivery was smooth, and the driver Las, patiently explained all the features to me, even driving it into the garage to ease my concerns about our steep driveway. I wanted to surprise my husband with a golf cart for his 60th birthday. So, I went to Velocity Golf Carts to see what brands and models they have available. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Lacey (The owner’s wife) and she showed me all the golf carts available and went over the prices and different buying options. Since my husband is a diehard TB Buccaneers fan I wanted the golf cart to be custom designed with the team logo. Therefore, Lacey introduced me to Patrick (The owner) and he was very excited and thrilled to customize my husband golf cart with the Bucs theme. He showed me the different options and I ended up upgrading the seats, wheels and adding LED lights.
