While Wesson has the opportunity to be a wonderful school they severely lack in the Special Education Dept. The administrator's do not understand behavior disorders nor do they have the understanding to deal with children who have behavior disorders. Some of the teachers are amazing, while the principals both assistant and regular, refuse to do what is necessary to make sure children with disorders are successful in their school. This school has no art, and no way for children to express themselves. Instead, children who should be doing a creative activity are sitting in front of computers. And don't ask about special transportation. Even if it's in an IEP because "they don't have it", or programs like behavior modification they don't have it either. This is a public school that has government funds for such programs, and as a parent, I would like to know where the money is.
