As an older millennial I wax nostalgic every time I walk through the door of this place. The constantly changing selection of retro toys and games takes me back to my youth rummaging through my own toybox full of plastic figurines and plush collectibles. All of the offerings are clean and well-represented but still have that old-time plastic smell that just hits different than modern toys.

Now as a parent my kids beg me to bring them here pretty much weekly and I'm always more than happy to oblige. They are too young to appreciate quality 80s and 90s toys but love the selection of Pokemon cards and related merch; and there is never a shortage of it. We never spend less than an hour digging through the bulk cards and never leave with less than a stack to add to the collection. Even thought the store is relatively small, they have a constant influx of new product so we never fail to find something novel and of interest.

The staff is extremely patient and helpful too. Despite my relative ignorance they don't ever push expensive cards or products but rather ensure that we find exactly what it is that we are after (like exotic Diglett cards)

Bottom line: Whether you are 4 or 40; this place has something for everyone and is definitely...

We have had nothing but great positive experiences when stopping by. Even though the store has just opened, he has such a wide variety of items a lot of which are things I never see in person so it’s been really awesome checking it all out! Prices are fair and Justin is a very easy going and he’s very personable. We will definitely be making it back… probably too often 😅

They may be small in size, but they are mighty in all other ways! Toy Box Toys had a great atmosphere with friendly, knowledgeable staff.
